Oiled walnut wood cutting board

Cutting board with non-slip feet, made of solid walnut wood oiled, size 58.5 x 35 cm. Stackable, not dishwasher safe.

This cutting board is also available in oiled oak wood, Art. 00762. This is a breadboard with an openwork design that allows crumbs to fall through.

These two chopping boards can be inserted into the black melamine tray, sold separately and shown on the picture, Art. 85225.

Maintenance: Wood is a natural product with many qualities, but it also requires special care: it's a 'working' material, it can shrink or expand under the influence of humidity and temperature. In the case of a cutting board, aperitif board or presentation board, this means that if the wood is not properly protected, it may split or crack. So before you use your board for the first time, it's a good idea to treat it, especially if it's made of untreated wood: oiling your board will help prevent grease stains and increase its natural resistance to moisture. Above all, never soak your board in water, as this can cause the wood to split. If it has been washed, it should be wiped thoroughly and dried in the open air, with the board hanging or placed vertically on its edge. Wood is sensitive to changes in temperature, so avoid drying the board in front of a source of high heat. Drying is very important to prevent cracking and warping.
