Black teapot cast iron Asia

Black enamelled cast iron teapot from Asia collection, enamelled inside. This cast iron teapot, in Japanese teapot design, keeps tea hot for a long time, thanks to cast iron which is a material that keeps hot for hours. Available in 0.3 ltr capacity (ideal for 2 cups) and two models with 0.8 L capacity. Suitable for induction. Not dishwasher safe.

The teapot comes with a stainless-steel tea strainer in which you will put the leaves of tea to brew for the Art. 10991; the Art. 10990 does not have a tea strainer: you can also put tea in bag to infuse, or you use a tea ball.

The enamelled cast iron teapot is also available in red, Art. 10992, and in green colour, Art. 10996.

How to prepare your teas in cast iron teapots? The ideal is to use spring water or filtered water; the water temperature should be between 70° and 80° C, depending on the tea you will use. Be sure to respect the infusion time indicated on the tea you have chosen, and let brew with the teapot closed, so that all the aromas of the tea can develop.

After use, it is important to rinse your cast iron teapot with boiling water, before the next use. You can also use your cast iron teapot to enjoy iced tea: brew your tea in the classic way with hot water, and then add ice cubes to your teapot. The pouring spout will prevent ice cubes from falling into the cup when serving.
